The Triumph of Truth: A Life of Martin Luther by J. H. Merle D’Aubigne

Written originally before the turn of the 20th Century, this account of Martin Luther’s life is well-written and exciting.  Most importantly, it was written by a man intensely sympathetic to the doctrine of God’s Grace and therefore Luther’s cause.  I have thoroughly devoured it.
