This site is a devotion written by David Roseland, pastor of Preston City Bible Church in Preston, CT.

The abiding theme will be the examination of commands we find in the Bible.  “Attention to Orders” can be heard from time-to-time throughout the unit formations of the U.S. Army, when they publish official orders from their commander.  All those present assume the position of attention and prepare to receive the instructions read by the commander’s adjutant or spokesman.

By analogy, “Attention to Orders” suggests that we pay attention to the orders of our Commander.  How will we know His intent if we do not know His commands?
